Amnesty International is a global movement of people fighting injustice and promoting human rights around the world. Together with Amnesty USA, we brought attention to the many inequities and abuses occurring around the world.

Troy Davis had been on death row for 17 years for a murder he maintains he did not commit. There was no physical evidence and the weapon used in the crime was never found. In affidavits signed over the years since the trial, a majority of the state’s witnesses have recanted or contradicted their testimony. Collaborated with Amnesty International in its campaign for a second trial. However, despite serious doubts surrounding his conviction, Troy Davis was executed by lethal injection at the Georgia state prison in Jackson.

To shed light on the illegal detainment of people by the United States government, we collaborated with Amnesty to create an animated video to be shared through social media. To keep within the budget, we filmed actors on a green screen and then composited them onto still images which were then animated into the final production.
